There are about 30 universities in United Kingdom offering medicine courses. Students generally begin medical school after secondary education. There are many ranking charts available for the students to choose best according to their needs. These ranking charts are a useful tool for those students who wish to study medicine in UK.

1. Oxford University ranks best in student surveys and in league tables for its Department of Medical Sciences. Students can take the graduate and post graduate degree programs included with the courses in anesthetics, neurology, biochemistry and cardiovascular medicine.
